However I think that it would be more efficient if the driver could get my # and text me when the flight lands to let me know that they are on site. My Pickup time takes longer when I have to call dispatch so they can inform the driver that I am ready. Then I have to wait an additional 10 min or longer before the drivers get to me. We could cut to the chase and shorten the process if I can be connected to the driver directly. After all, it’s not that they cannot track my flight on flightaware or similar apps that are available on their smartphones. Waiting for 10-15 min outside by the curbside on a cold Chicago winter day can be brutal. This recommendation emphasizes how we all can operate more efficiently. By the way, this also applies to the pickup process on my way to the airport. I sometimes don’t know that the driver is outside until I get a text from dispatch. This can be improved if the driver can text me directly. Lastly, would the company consider incorporating online booking or utilizing an app to facilitate efficiency instead of requiring a phone-call reservation? I make multiple bookings simultaneously and booking several pickups on the phone is time-consuming!
